Poppy Jasper

Poppy jasper is a perfect name for this piece. It embodies the traits of the very best poppy jaspers: yellow poppies, red outlines, and both black and clear agate! This cabochon was cut from a piece of rough from the very famous Morgan Hill in California. There is no longer any access to the site, so the only rocks available are from old collections. This lovely piece has one of Lisete's signature asymmetrical cuts. It has a sterling silver bail epoxied to the back in a minimalistic design that allows the stone to shine on its own. The tiny fissure visible at the bottom is internal and not a crack.
