The stunning blue of this Ocean Series ring is due to the intensity of colour found in the best apatite. It is an unmistakably rich, luminous blue that recalls the sea. This apatite gemstone is nearly raw, having just been smoothed over slightly to remove any ragged edges. The result is a surface with a driftwood-like quality of undulations and dips in texture.
Flanking the main gemstone are four yellow topazes, two on each side. They provide a flash of sunlight to complement the blue centrepiece.
The setting is a sterling silver with 22-karat yellow gold patina highlights. Elegant yet simple, the band allows the gemstones to steal the show.
