Baroque Seas
This Rulebreaker ring in the Ocean Series is a true show stopper. It features an absolutely enormous baroque pearl with beautiful luster with stunning shimmers of gold, deep peach, and palest green decorating the surface. One corner of the setting has a tiny rhodolite garnet to add some sparkle.
As a reminder, the term baroque pearl refers to basically any pearl that is not a perfect sphere. In this case, the perfectly natural formation resembles a large, rounded pearl draped with a graceful, shimmering cloth gathering into folds at its base. As with all pearls, the size, quality of the luster, and the shimmer of additional colours on the surface add to the rarity of this organic gemstone.
The setting is sterling silver with a patina of black rhodium and 22-karat yellow gold highlights ringing the pearl. The band is wider, especially near the top to provide support and stability for the pearl. The intertwining strands of silver recall coral in the depths cradling this precious gemstone.
