This pink star sapphire is an absolutely lovely cabochon that gleams due to the star effect. It is a 7 mm round cut that stands 4 mm high. The high dome is typical of star sapphires as it tends to showcase the star. This gemstone is set in a minimalist-style prong setting that lets the jewel be the focus of attention.
The sterling silver chain shown in the photos is included. It is Italian made and coated with a patina of white rhodium to help prevent tarnishing. The chain is 18" long and is adjustable to 20" long.
