Rhodochrosite is a relatively rare stone that is highly sought after due to its lovely pink to reddish colour, which contrasts beautifully with the lacy white lines tracing through the stone. This one has been cut in a teardrop and is of a highly translucent quality that glows gorgeously in the light.
The setting is a sterling silver band and bezel, which protects the gemstone well. The simplicity of the setting allows the stone to dazzle on its own.
