This absolutely gorgeous ring is part of our Ocean Series in the Rulebreaker Collection. It comprises two oval faceted amethysts (7 x 5 mm) complemented by three faceted marquis-cut blue topazes (6 x 3 mm). The band is a stylized heart shape with very organic, graceful curves meant to be reminiscent of waves. The stylized heart is also complemented by a tiny gold heart by one of the amethysts.
The band is made of sterling silver and has a patina of black rhodium and patina highlights of 22-karat yellow gold. The band is wide enough to provide support for the size of the design and branches out at the top to help prevent the top from shifting from side to side. The dark patina suggests the dimmer depths of the sea, where just enough sunlight reaches to provide glints (the gold highlights) and makes these gemstone treasures glow.
