Turquoise and Peridot

An elegant, delicate ring from our Timeless Collection that features a discreet turquoise cabochon flanked by two peridots on each side. The turquoise is exactly the most sought-after colour for this gemstone - robin's-egg blue. The colour is deep and saturated with some variations in tone, which is not uncommon.These varied shades are reminiscent of the Caribbean Sea.

Persian turquoise like this one often has pyrite inclusions such as can be seen on the side of the cabochon. Turquoise is considered to be a protective gemstone and pyrite has protective properties as well, it is thought.

The faceted peridot gemstones provide discreet flash to complement the centrepiece. 

The setting is sterling silver, although the tips of the prongs are patinaed in 22-karat yellow gold to provide extra depth.
