Peridot Spray

This gorgeous ring is part of the Ocean Series in the Rulebreaker Collection. Five strands of faceted peridots offer up a faceted black opal like a treasure from the sea. The opal is fairly dark, with flashes of deep greens and blues that complement the green of the peridots. There are also occasional flashes of gold and red. This opal shows its best in strong light. The underside of the prong setting is open to allow for light to enter and enhance the glow of the gemstone.

The faceted peridots (28) represent strands of water glittering around the jewel that is the opal. The peridots are held by prongs patinaed in 22-karat yellow gold to provide a glitter of sunlight. Every single peridot has a hollow on the underside to also allow light through to brighten the gemstones.

The band is fine silver with a patina of black rhodium and 22-karat yellow gold. It is completely smooth inside and out to permit a comfortable fit.
