Playful Dolphin Earrings

This pair of lovely dolphins are jumping out of the water with blue-sapphire eyes, blue topaz at their tails representing the water, and wrapping around amethysts denoting a deep sunset sky.

The sapphires in these pieces are a brilliant, deep blue with good sparkle (1 mm rounds). The amethysts are a deep purple with a wonderful inner glow (eye clean, 6 x 4 mm). The pale blue topazes provide a great sparkle at the tip of the tails (eye clean, 3 mm rounds).

The body of the earrings is fine silver with a 22-karat yellow-gold patina on the gemstone prongs and on the bezel around the eyes. These earrings feature a secure clasp to keep the earrings on your ear, where they belong.

Amethyst is the birthstone for February, topaz is the birthstone for November, and sapphire is the birthstone for September.
