Sapphire and Coral

A raw blue sapphire cradled by garnet-tipped coral branches is our latest entry in the Rulebreaker's Ocean Series. This uncut gemstone captures the look of a natural precious stone trapped by coral under the sea. This lovely sapphire has a medium-blue colour and the shape is entirely natural. This glowing blue gemstone measures 16 mm by 15 mm at its widest points.

The fine-silver setting is textured to resemble coral branches. The setting expands towards the top to provide greater stability for the sapphire and prevent tilting on the finger. Each strand of coral that wraps around the sapphire is tipped by a deep-red garnet for a total of eight glowing tips. The garnet are a gorgeous wine red and are 3 mm faceted rounds.
