Garden Fireworks

This spectacular ring in our Rulebreaker Garden Series is purely an explosion of colour. A gorgeous, deep-purple amethyst is surrounded by six blue topazes and an outer ring of eight red garnets. These colours complement each other beautifully and one gets the sense they are exploding outward from the centre.

The setting is slightly raised to accommodate the slight curvature of the setting front to back and side to side. This curvature gives the ring gracefulness that makes it appear elegant. Another advantage of the raised setting is that it allows light to get behind the gemstones, giving them greater luminosity and sparkle.

Amethyst: 8 x 6 mm faceted oval. Eye clean, fantastic deep colour. Amethyst is the birthstone for February.

Blue topazes: Six 3-mm faceted rounds. Swiss blue colouring. Topaz is one of the birthstones for November.

Red garnets: Eight 3-mm faceted rounds. Deep burgundy red. Garnet is the birthstone for January.
