Gemstones Entangled in Coral

This evocative Rulebreaker ring in the Ocean Series evokes interbranched coral stems entangling amethysts and garnets. The effect is of a lovely underwater, multicoloured garden. The setting is fine silver tipped with a 22-karat rose gold patina on the gemstone prongs. The coral branches are carved with a rough-looking (but smooth) texture to further bring to mind treasures on the ocean floor. The inside of the band has some texture but also feels smooth.

The largest gemstones are two faceted oval amethysts (8 x 6 mm) with great sparkle and an intense purple glow. Three faceted teardrop red garnets (6 x 4 mm) are scattered amongst the branches. They are a pure red with a great glow.
