Ocean Currents

This graceful ring is part of our Ocean Series in our Rulebreaker Collection.The centrepiece of this lovely item is a peach-toned freshwater pearl. The gold patina surrounding it sets off its warm tones beautifully. Adding some sparkle are three amethysts and one purple garnet. The swirling nature of the design is meant to evoke underwater currents cradling these little treasures.

The band is sterling silver with a black rhodium patina and a 22-karat gold accent patina. The pearl is set back from the edge of the design to provide protection. The underside of the setting is curved to conform to the shape of the finger, making for an extremely comfortable fit.

Pearl: Freshwater, very good luster. Peach tones. 12 mm in diameter. As with all pearls, the size, quality of the luster, and the shimmer of additional colours on the surface add to the rarity of this organic gemstone. Pearl is one of the birthstones for June.

Amethysts: 3 mm faceted rounds with good colour. Amethyst is one of the birthstones for February.

Purple garnet: 4 mm faceted round with a good, deep colour. Garnet is the birthstone for January.
