Raw

This delicate ring is an elegant, restrained setting for a raw pink sapphire. The gemstone is a lovely watermelon pink and is unpolished, looking just like a stone tumbled by the waves. The asymmetrical basket setting complements the slightly rough look of the gemstone, and the gold-tipped prongs add warmth to the sapphire.

The band is sterling silver with a patina of rhodium to help it resist tarnishing. The decorative elements on the sides are suggestive of grains of sand from the beach and are asymmetrically distributed on either side.
